AI Software Development Intern
Job Description
Developer Software Engineering (DSE) organization is looking for a software development intern to work on oneDNN project (https://github.com/oneapi-src/oneDNN). oneDNN is a complex cross-platform open source software project focusing on neural networks performance. oneDNN is a critical and highly visible component of Intel AI strategy powering key AI applications including OpenVINO, Tensorflow, Pytorch, ONNX Runtime, and more.
In this role you will be responsible for development of new features and algorithms optimized for Intel processors, Intel Processor Graphics, and Intel discrete GPUs, performance optimizations for current and future Intel hardware, including assembly level programming and development of hardware specific parallel algorithms.

Qualifications
Job qualifications:
You should be a student of third or fourth year or a Master's degree studies, preferably Computer Science faculty.
Additional qualifications include:
- Willing to work part time during the academic year and then over the summer
- Good English command
- Good C/C++ programming skills, algorithms and data structures
- Open minded
- Fast learner
Preferred Requirements (nice to have):
- knowledge/experience with CUDA or SYCL
- Mathematics, preferably linear algebra solvers, matrix-vector operations, and Fast Fourier Transforms
- version control skills: git, github
- Microsoft Visual Studio experience
- Linux programming skills
- performance debugging/analysis skills
