Sourcing and Production Operations Project/Program Manager Technical
Job Description
End to End Supply Chain Data and Solutions, Sourcing and Production Operations team is looking for a dynamic and driven Project Manager that manages the business architecture and integration of capability delivery driving value for Intel's business.
The ideal candidate is expected to demonstrate the following:
- Action oriented and have strong analytics, business partnering, problem solving and influencing skills.
- Provide strong leadership for the project team.
- Work closely with Supply Chain Data and Solutions Account Managers, geo-dispersed IT partners and customers to deliver process and tool capabilities to meet business objectives.
- Communicate in a clear and concise manner and drive organizational change (different levels and functional roles).
- Self-driven and comfortable working in globally dispersed teams.
- Support Business Architecture definition as well as performing business analyst functions within the project as needed.
You will also be required to:
- Exercise judgment and discretion to develops solutions, remove obstacles and redefine approaches.
- Work on project teams with Solution Analysts, Testing Analysts, and Business analysts (on large projects).
- Gather and clarify business requirements with the customer to understand the business problem. They must understand the customer's business processes to identify the value drivers associated with the project.
- During the build phase of the Program Lifecycle or Software Development Life Cycle, the PM may perform testing as a quality check to ensure business and data quality requirements have been addressed in the solution.
- Work as a solution architect providing subject matter expertise or leadership to ensure the desired solution is designed to meet the value commitment.
- Develop project business cases that specify problem statement, project scope, business value, and end state.
- Gather, elicit, and document requirements through multiple channels including: working directly with business stakeholders, functional subject matter experts and operational leads.
- Comprehend and map interactions and relationships of complex systems people, processes, information, and technologies.
- Research and evaluate alternative solutions to satisfy business need.
- Create system/process improvements through identification and removal of non-value-added activities.
- Perform fit/gap analysis to identify showstoppers and critical process and technical gaps.
- Develop solutions to problems by exercising innovation, business acumen, judgment and discretion.
- Candidate must be willing to work with cross geo and organizational teams with travel as needed.

- Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills will be essential.

- Provides solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Computer Science or related field and 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager/ Architect/Business Analyst
- 5+ years of Leadership experience managing cross-IT and enterprise level engagements or
- 5+ years of supply chain/finance/planning experience
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with waterfall and agile project management.
- Experience with business/solution architecture (process flows, SIPOCs, etc)
- Knowledge of Total Change Management (TCM) methodology and tools.
- PMP or equivalent a plus
- Knowledge of Lean principles (Lean/Sig Sigma Certifications a plus)
- Advanced education or ASCM (Association for Supply Chain Management) or equivalent certification
