Discover Central Ohio
You’ve heard all about the new state-of-the-art facilities, but we want to introduce you to some of the amazing cities and communities right here in the Silicon Heartland as well.
Columbus
Ohio’s capital is known for its affordable cost of living and unique neighborhoods, making it an attractive option for families and young professionals alike. Beyond economics, it offers a unique blend of vibrant culture, diverse cuisine, thriving industries, and a wide range of things to do — from sports and arts to music and more. Whether you’re into the bustling city life or the beauty of its parks and green spaces, you’ll find a welcoming community and strong sense of local pride.
- Shopping Get your retail therapy in Easton, Polaris Fashion Place, or Tanger Outlets, as well as the boutiques of the Short North Arts District, Grandview Heights, or German Village.
- Dining Whether it’s food trucks, craft distilleries, local cafes, James Beard Awards semifinalists, or the North Market — Central Ohio’s oldest public market — you’ll never leave hungry or thirsty.
- Attractions Enjoy the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, Botanical Gardens, the National Veterans Memorial and Museum, the Columbus Museum of Art, and the Center of Science and Industry (COSI).
- Festivals & Events With weekend summer festivals that highlight everything from wine, diverse cultures, music, and more, to must-see seasonal events throughout the year, there’s always something to do.
- Live Music There’s a vibrant music scene — indie rock, jazz, hip-hop, symphony, and opera — showcased across intimate venues, storied music halls, the annual Columbus Arts Festival, and arenas.
- Sports Take in a game with the Columbus Crew (MLS), the Columbus Blue Jackets (NHL), the Columbus Fury (PVF), the Columbus Clippers (Triple-A MLB), or the Ohio State Buckeyes’ 36 Division I sports.
Exploring Our Suburbs and Towns
The Columbus Metro Area
Central Ohio is also home to a wide range of suburbs and towns — each with its own unique charm. Dublin — as the name suggests — is known for its Irish flair and vibrant community events, Westerville for its historic downtown and top-rated schools, and Powell for its rural feel with easy access to city amenities. All of these locales serve as a peaceful retreat from the bustling city while maintaining close proximity to Columbus' cultural attractions, dining options, and employment opportunities.
Our Home: New Albany
Small-Town Charm and Modern Amenities
New Albany has welcomed our team members and embraced our new semiconductor manufacturing facilities in their community. Located just northeast of Columbus, this city is known for its beautifully designed neighborhoods, top-ranked schools, and plenty of open, green spaces. As a master-planned community, you’ll find pedestrian-friendly streets, amazing parks, 68+ miles of leisure trails, and thoughtful design at every turn.
Market Square
This is the town center and a vibrant hub for events like farmers' markets, concerts, and festivals.
Rose Run Parks
It's transformed the heart of this community, preserving green space and providing a physical connection between people, nature, and the greater Village Center area.
The Jeanne B. McCoy Community Center for the Arts
This home of artistic excellence hosts theater, music, and dance performances.
Community Impact
Our presence will create thousands of jobs during the build, as well as support even more local long-term jobs for suppliers and partners. We’ve also pledged $50 million to build a talent pipeline and enhance research programs in the region through partnerships with educational institutions. That’s what being a good neighbor is about.
Home-Grown Innovation
Our Ohio facilities will strengthen our country’s semiconductor supply chains, support American innovation, and protect our national security. Leveraging $8.5 billion in direct funding from the bipartisan CHIPS and Science Act — along with our own $28 billion investment — we’re turbocharging advanced semiconductor production in the US.
