PDK QA Engineer
Job Description

This is a position within the PDK QA of the Design Enablement Team in Intel Foundry. A PDK is a collection of artifacts that represents Intel's semiconductor process and is used by Product Designers to model, implement and verify their Product before it is manufactured by Intel Foundry. #DesignEnablement In this position, responsibilities include although not limited to: - Plan and execute the QA Validation on PDK Collaterals such as pcells, techfiles, runset, extraction and fill. - Perform validation on PDK, ensuring the Quality of PDK Collaterals across Process Nodes and EDA Tools. - Perform root cause analysis, and work with Developers/EDA Tool Vendors to drive improvement into PDK/Tool. - Develop innovative QA Methodology to enhance QA Process to help Intel deliver Best-in-Class PDK.Qualifications
Qualification The candidate must possess minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Qualifications You should have a Bachelor/Master in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering 2+ years of industry experience with Specific knowledge in: - Good understanding of PDKs; - Hands on experience of Custom Layout Design and Tool such as Virtuoso is a must; - Experienced in Physcial Verification tool such as Calibre or ICV is a must; - Exposure to industry standard EDA tools from Synopsys, Cadence and Siemens is a must; - Scripting experience in Perl/Python/Skill/TCL/SVRF are desired; - Knowledge of pcell, runsets, extraction, reliability verification are preferred; - Strong work ethics, growth mindset, positive attitude, good communication skills are desired.Inside this Business Group
