Job Description
Manufacturing Product & Quality Engineering (MPQ) team sits at the cross-section of manufacturing, design, and quality at Intel.
Our function is to trail-blaze our new product's designs and make sure all of our products meet Intel's outgoing quality goals to our customers. The Costa Rica Validation Lab Engineering (CRVLE) is a group within MPQE that enables laboratory capacity for several engineering groups in Costa Rica, optimizing Intel CR productivity by leveraging collocation and working as One Intel. As a Tactical Planner Student, you will be responsible for:
- provide support to one or more vertical teams or planners across Manufacturing Product & Quality Engineering (MPQ) network enabling a cross-collaboration environment.
- create Lab schedule of execution using multiple planning systems, monitoring and analyzing critical indicators to identify improvement opportunities.
- pass down priorities, collaborate with operation team daily. In charge of Jobs Samples creation, manage material distribution, transfers, and inventory usage.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications, you must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position:
- Must be pursuing a BS Degree in Industrial or Production Engineering (At least 2 years remaining as an active student).
- 6+ months of experience working with Excel (pivot tables, data analysis).
- 6+ months of experience in Tactical planning / Capacity analysis.
- Intermediate to advanced English level (Professional Proficiency).
- Availability to work 36 hours per week (max allowed by student worker program).
Preferred Qualifications,are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates:
- Previous experience on tactical or manufacturing planning.
- Advanced MS Office skills (Macros, algorithms and/or mathematical functions; Pivot and Dynamic tables programing and Power BI).
Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
