IT FPnA Analyst
Job Description
IT Group designs, deploys, and supports information technology architecture, hardware, and software applications for Intel worldwide. IT supports over 100K Intel employees in 168 sites across 63 countries and spans across all Intel groups. The IT FPnA analyst will be responsible for planning, analysis and month end close processes for Digital Workplace Services (DWS), an 80M dollar annual spends segment within IT. Analyst will engage DWS’s business operations key stakeholders and budget representatives across multiple fronts including presenting to DWS’s leadership. They will also help drive standardization initiatives across IT Finance to ensure consistent and repeatable processes.
Key responsibilities:
Creates and analyzes financial information and business trends to develop reconciliations, financial reports, variance explanations, risk assessments and solutions.
Evaluates accounting and reporting and recommends solutions to ensure the integrity of external and internal reporting.
Develops annual budgets and forecasts for different business units and departments, as well as for the organization to influence the decision making process and direction of varying levels of business leaders including project leads, managers, operational business groups and factories. Identifies, performs and drives process improvement opportunities in the month end close processes and supports management reporting related to operations performance on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Prepares and maintains operational budget, forecasts, plan and reports and develops operational workflows that bridge technical and business needs.
Makes recommendations around financial process improvements by maintaining financial tools to perform analysis and recommends automation and more efficient methods of creation and delivery.
Evaluates capital expenditure requirements and recommends suitable financing options.
Develops periodic management reports for performance measurement of different business units and the organization.
Provides decision support to leadership by monitoring revenue and costs against the budgets and forecasts and explaining variance through root cause analysis.
Supports decision making by providing ad hoc financial and key performance indicator analyzes that influence leadership decision making.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
1+ years of related practical experience
Advanced English level
Preferred qualifications:
Previous FPnA experience
Master's or MBA degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
