As the first point of contact for HR support in the Americas region for current and former employees, the primary responsibility is to resolve questions and issues related to the HR life-cycle. This requires the ideal candidate to engage with Intel employees through various communication channels such as chat, email, and phone to successfully and thoroughly investigate and resolve the employee issue while providing superb customer service. The role requires extensive research of relevant guidelines while also staying actively engaged with the employee to ensure they are handled with care during the entire process. For more complex queries, the ideal candidate will be required to work across multiple teams to successfully resolve the customer issue. In the role, you are encouraged to share ideas to continuously help improve the organization by enhancing processes, customer engagement, and cross organizational collaboration. The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits: Customer service, critical thinking, problem-solving, excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, attention to detail, stakeholder management, and willingness to work with ambiguity.
The role is performed Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm. Operational hours change to 8am to 5pm in alignment to Daylight Saving Time.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be pursuing or complete a Technical or Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field. 2+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
1+ year of contact center experience.
1+ year of HR shared services experience.
Advanced English written and verbal.
Proficient knowledge in MS tools (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
Must have permanent-unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with HR tools such as Workday, ServiceNow, etc.
Customer service and/or process improvement certifications.
