Overview:
The Director of IT Operations will lead efforts to build a resilient team focused on improving the IT Operations function. This role involves creating and implementing IT strategic plans in alignment with our organizational goals. Responsibilities include establishing effective governance, overseeing IT Portfolio and Budget, and Supplier Management, while also developing enterprise architecture and M and A frameworks. Additionally, the position will involve managing IT Service Management (ITSM) processes to ensure efficient IT service delivery and collaborating with teams to enhance service quality. Effective communication is essential for keeping stakeholders informed and fostering transparency, engagement, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and lead initiatives to build a healthy IT organization, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement to drive efficiency and maximize value.
Develop and implement comprehensive IT strategic plans that align with the organization's overall business objectives and long-term vision.
Establish and enforce effective governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient decision-making, compliance, and transparency across IT initiatives and resources.
Responsible for strategically prioritizing and managing the organization's IT project portfolio to ensure alignment with business objectives and maximize value.
Implement IT portfolio management practices to optimize resource allocation, reduce risks, and support informed decision-making regarding IT investments.
Develop and implement comprehensive IT strategic plans that align with the organization's overall business objectives and long-term vision.

Establish and execute effective communication strategies and plans to keep stakeholders informed about IT changes, projects, and initiatives, fostering transparency, engagement, and collaboration across the organization.
Implement and manage IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and practices, ensuring the efficient delivery and support of IT services in alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, optimize, and improve ITSM processes, including incident management, change management, and service level management, to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.
Spearhead the service desk team, focusing on delivering exceptional customer support by promptly resolving user issues, fostering a customer-centric culture, and ensuring transparent and effective communication with end-users to enhance the overall IT service experience.

Qualifications


Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT management, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record in developing and executing IT strategic plans that align with organizational goals, drive efficiency, and promote innovation.
Strong expertise in establishing governance frameworks, ensuring efficient decision-making, compliance, and transparency across IT initiatives.
Demonstrated experience in managing and prioritizing IT project portfolios to maximize alignment with business objectives and value.
In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and experience in implementing architecture frameworks.
Proficiency in managing technology aspects of mergers and acquisitions (M and A) processes and integration.
Expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, including incident, problem, change, and service level management.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Strong project management skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to keeping up with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities with a strategic focus on maximizing IT investments' value.
Experience in managing a global workforce across different time zones is a plus

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $186,760.00-$299,166.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
