Come and join the Intel Costa Rica Data Platforms and Artificial Intelligence Group as a Student Worker in Cloud Software Development. You will be part of a team chartered to build Customer Fleet and Scale Capabilities for server customers to enable on-time high-quality launches of Intel server programs, as well as in-Fleet product experience. You must be a quick learner, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment. You will have opportunities to participate in various projects as part of product development, research and receive trainings. The focus of this position is to work with Software Engineers to ensure hardware coordination and facilitate software development. If you have a strong curiosity in how things work and have the drive to understand them fully this could be a great opportunity for you.

Qualifications


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
- At least 6 months of experience projects with programming languages like Python, Linux, Docker
- Willing to maintain an active student status for at least 1 year
- Willing to work at least 28 hours per week.
- Intermediate English Level
- Candidate must have unrestricted permanent right to work in Costa Rica

Preferred Qualifications:
- Systems or Server Platform knowledge and CPU architecture knowledge.
- Ability to use Software APIs components such as libraries or endpoints to allow Software applications maintenance.
- Knowledge in Cloud Solutions/Infrastructure as a power user (Kubernetes, AWS, etc.)
- Version control and continuous integration tools (GIT, GITHUB, SVN, etc.)

Working Model
