Silicon Validation Engineering Director
Job Description
People manager of Functional Validation team who is part of Intel Client Validation Engineering organization charted for Post Silicon validation of next-generation Client AI PC.
In a nutshell, we are validating functionality of SOC Hardware features per Design and Architecture spec in system environment with Firmware and Software ingredients to meet product quality.
Our vision is Zero customer bugs escape and as a Post Silicon- Functional Validation team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting edge technology integrated into AI PC SOC and develop new technical strategy or methodology or tool or test to validate the SOC functionality with firmware and software at system level.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Manage the local Post Silicon Validation team for the site, and manage global partners and stakeholders
Collaborate with partners to drive continuous improvement to design and Post Silicon validation methodology plans
Post Silicon deliveries to internal and external customer
Develop pre-silicon to Post Silicon strategies, requirements, tools and methodologies
Collaborate with and influence Designer, architects, IP, tool and work force
Required Skills and Experience
Proven technical experience and broad knowledge of design and validation
Problem-solving and People managerial experiences to lead and retain talent
Proven strong self-initiative and self-learning capabilities
Demonstrated interpersonal skills to perform at leadership role including influencing, engaging, and motivating
Proven track record of working across organization through matrix structures in order to accomplish strategic objectives with conflicting priorities
Must demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
Passionate on engineering solutions to resolve technical problems.
Qualifications
Bachelor's in electrical or computer engineering or related engineering degree. Masters preferred
15+ years of people leadership experience. Director level experience managing large engineering teams preferred.
Min 10+ years of relevant SoC and IP development experience
Possess knowledges on PC architecture, IO protocol, Firmware/Software architecture and system architecture.
