Graduate Talent (Test Lab Process Engineer)
Job Description
In this position, you will be working under the guidance of a senior lab module engineer. You will be assigned to help in developing and/or sustaining lab SOP/OCAP for day-to-day engineering tasks execution and efficiency improvement.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Responsible for ensuring engineering tasks submitted in the lab will be executed flawlessly. Participate in daily operation meeting to resolve road block that will impact the efficiency of daily tasks.
- Recommends and implements modifications for operating the equipment and process SOP in order to improve tasks execution efficiencies towards optimizing tasks completion output, to meet safety, quality and cost indicator goals.
- Responsible to work with cross functional teams and utilize structural troubleshooting skill to resolve systemic issue effectively; problem analyze, root cause identification, solution implementation, result tracking, documentation and proliferation.
- Responsible to work with lab owner to identify and create critical KPIs as lab healthiness indicator.
- Able to identify area of improvement and implement process to enhance overall lab operation with Lean methodology.
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Industrial engineering.
- Highly analytical and an excellent team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Highly initiative, innovative and demonstrates a keen desire to keep up with the latest technology curve via a self-learning and continuous improvement attitude.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English, excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to articulate problem statement and solution effectively.
