Job Description
Technology Development (TD) is the heart and soul of Moore's Law at Intel, enabling Intel to create world-changing technology that enriches the lives of every person on earth. TD drives breakthrough research and develops next generation process and packaging technologies, while also running high volume manufacturing operations in its state-of-the-art facilities. The Design Technology Platform (DTP) team in TD works closely with the technology team to maximize the value proposition of the technology for our customers thru Design Technology Co-Optimization (DTCO), delivers the Process Design Kits (PDKs) and foundational IPs (FIPs), and carries out technology lead vehicle execution for Si validation. Enablement and optimization of EDA reference flow and design flow on Intel technology play a crucial role in accomplishing DTP's charter. In this role responsibilities include, although not limited to: - Develop and maintain world-class silicon Design Data Management system by applying industry-standard Source Control Management practices and solutions. - Deploy new automation features around next gen revision control systems, continuous integration, and data management. - Work with internal infrastructure team on compute grid, storage management and job scheduling architecture, efficiency, and maintenance. - Conducting evaluations of software tool and infrastructure quality to determine a set of standards and techniques for designing silicon chips with highest efficiency and consistency. - Project management for CAD infrastructure related programs and provide first-level support to resolve customer issues. #DesignEnablement #DesignTechnologyPlatformQualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's with 1+ years or Master's experience in the following degree: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering. - Excellent with Version Control software (ICM, Perforce, Git, etc.) to build next generation solution for silicon design. - Excellent UNIX and scripting programming skills (Python3 required, Perl and/or TCL). - Knowledge of common technologies for storage, job management, cloud infrastructure and compute allocation. - Knowledge of software build automation and silicon design flow. - Strong analytical, programming, and debugging skills. - Ability to work independently and at various levels of abstraction, from concept to details. #designenablement #designtechnologyplatformInside this Business Group
