VP, Construction and Facilities Supply Chain (CFSC) General Manager
Job Description
The Construction and Facilities Supply Chain (CFSC) General Manager leads all construction and contract management activities worldwide including sourcing, competitive strategies, contract development/administration, and supplier management for design, construction, facilities equipment and materials, transportation, real estate, utility infrastructure, etc. The CFSC General Manager partners and collaborates with Fab Construction Enterprise (FCE) and additional customer organizations and/or stakeholders to deliver optimized construction and facilities solutions. This position reports to an Intel Corporation Corporate Vice President within Global Supply Chain.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Driving best in class contracts negotiation and execution processes including scoping, budgeting, outsourced or offshore contract negotiation capabilities and software-based workflow management tools
Leading key pre-construction proposals and pricing strategies, preparing proposal, and execution strategies/plans in conjunction with critical internal partners
Effective use of industry benchmarks and metrics that define world class performance to build credible and aggressive negotiation positions.
Communicate, influence, and interact globally to build strategic partnerships with partners/stakeholders /executive management. Strengthen data and analytics culture across the organization to proactively identify opportunities, model desired outcomes, and effectively manage performance. Effective development and application of contracting, compensation and supply chain methods to protect Intel's interests, deliver optimal results and minimize risk to reduce cost/time while mitigating claims. Execute supply chain management to ensure adherence to contractual commitments, proactively monitoring key performance metrics, and implement effective corrective actions to address deviations
Ensure role model execution of the design, pre-construction and construction processes for compliance with project objectives, including budget, performance, timeframe, environmental considerations and quality.
Oversee contracts and key relationships in the development of an industry-leading construction capability.
Responsible for leading, managing, coordinating, and administering construction services activities of multiple projects from the bid stage, through planning, engineering, procurement, construction, and project close-out.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required, Engineering or MBA background strongly desired with 15+ years of experience in construction contracts and/or program management or related fields.
Progressive and dynamic leadership experience, in a high growth and fast paced organization.
Experience growing, managing and developing a large team of an industry-leading construction capability to support large scale, multi-billion-dollar projects.
Must have an executive presence in engaging with suppliers at the C Suite level with constructive confrontation and collaboration
Ability to excel in leading in a highly matrixed development environment.
