Intel Federal LLC (IFL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Intel Corporation with responsibility for managing Intel's business with the US Federal Government. We are working at a torrid pace to improve economic and National security by resolving the microelectronic challenges our nation faces. We collaborate across Intel Corporation to develop and execute programs for US Government (USG) agencies, defense contractors, and others, that align to Intel's strategies. As a Facility Security Officer in Intel Federal, you will:
- Conducts internal security assessments and security reviews and conducts security risk analysis of business processes and technology solutions to evaluate whether they comply with internal security policies and standards, regulatory and industry requirements and security best practices.
- Interprets security and technical requirements.
- Design and implements information assurance and supports security solutions, delivering requirements such as, but not limited to business continuity, operations security, cryptography, forensics, and regulatory compliance.
- Analyze documented processes, procedures and standards to validate maintenance of secure configurations.
- Highlight shortcomings in the operations of platform security and compliance processes, and ensures they are appropriately addressed.
- Identify security risks and communicates to relevant stakeholders ranging from business leaders to engineers.
- Install security measures and software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs.
- Review incoming contracts to understand security data safeguarding requirements, provides contract modification recommendations and drives security requirements based on regulatory direction contracts and other security engagements.
- Monitor computer networks to identify security threats and investigates security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents.
- Remain current with information technology (IT) trends and industry security standards. Works with information security engineering and architecture staff to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
This position requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States government customers and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions.
Active US Government Top Secret/SCI (TS-SCI).
High School diploma and 6+ years of equivalent security experience OR
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2+ years of equivalent security experience.
- 1+ years of security office administration and facility security experience.
- 2+ years of experience using government security regulations, manuals, and processes, to include the NISPOM, Security Executive Agent Directive (SEAD), and OPSEC principles.
- 2+ years of experience in working with the Department of Defense (DoD) policies and the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as an FSO or AFSO.
- Proficient with DISS, NISS, NBIS and SIMS.FSO Program Management certification or any other relevant industry certifications.
- Experience in managing physical security measures, such as access control systems, security alarms, and surveillance equipment.
- Experience with cybersecurity measures and IT security best practices.
