Deep Learning Verification Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Chip Verification Architect to lead the verification efforts for our complex System-on-Package (SoP) used for AI.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering successful verification projects.
Office location: Tel Aviv / Caesarea.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Verification Planning: Develop comprehensive verification plans, including testbench architecture and test strategies.
- Methodology Development: Define and implement verification methodologies and best practices across different verification levels (block, SoC, SoP).
- Toolchain Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate verification tools (e.g., Direct, UVM, Formal, Emulation) based on project requirements and team expertise.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with architecture, design engineers, verification engineers, validation, and software teams to ensure effective verification coverage and efficient resource allocation.
- Emulation Strategy: Develop and oversee the emulation strategy, working closely with software teams to ensure seamless integration and validation.
- Verification Coverage: Establish and track verification coverage metrics to ensure thorough testing of the SoC.
- Track and manage IP-related bugs, working with design and verification teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Mentorship and Training: Provide guidance and training to team members on verification methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in VLSI chip verification, with a focus on complex SoCs.
- Proven track record of leading verification teams and delivering successful projects.
- Strong technical expertise in verification methodologies (e.g., UVM, OVM), formal verification, and emulation.
- Experience with industry-standard verification tools (e.g., VCS, Jasper).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- BSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, MSc – an advantage.
- Experience with AI-specific verification challenges and techniques – an advantage
- Knowledge of system-level verification and performance analysis – an advantage
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) for automation – an advantage
