Bluetooth System Engineer
Job Description
You'll be part of an excellent System Engineering and Architecture group within the Wireless Connectivity Solutions, the group defines products starting from its early development stages throughout the development cycle including product launch. Intel’s wireless communication products are leading the market with the latest standards, state of the art performance features and mechanisms.
We look for an experienced System Engineer to define and deliver system requirements to design and validation teams. Include SW/HW partition, SW requirements and flows, latest standards decomposition into requirements. provide system support during the development and integration stages (hands on lab activities), as well as during sustaining in post-release period.
As part of your role, you will work closely with various teams: Product, System, PHY, RF, firmware, Driver as well as platform architecture and validation.
What will you do?
System definitions in power consumption domain like:
Power management, Device Power saves flows, Platform power consumption optimization
Use Case KPIs – Define related use cases as part of the product and platform overall use cases, model these and provide KPIs targets based on this and the product power primitives.
System definitions in MAC-PHY/RF domain like:
PHY configurations for different use cases
system calibration flows considerations and integration
RF interferences mitigation mechanism management and integration
Hands-on activities including debug, dive into code and lab setups handling.
Big data analysis for system decisions
Qualifications
What are we looking for?
- Over 6 years of experience in engineering, over 3 years as system engineer/architect.
- Experience with system aspects and design considerations of low power mobile platforms.
- Experience with system integration. specific experience with integration of multi-disciplinary communication systems - advantage.
- SW/HW design background – advantage
- Experience with BT systems and standards - advantage.
- Independent and self-motivated, capable of executing under uncertainty, in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent interpersonal relations and team-work skills
- Leadership and ability to drive forward activities in matrix reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English
Education:
- BSc/MSc in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science
