In Q4 2023, Intel announced PSG will be reported as a separate business unit beginning on January 1, 2024 with ongoing support from Intel. This position is associated to that standalone business strategy and is expected to fully transition to a standalone company at some time in the future.

  • Be part of the talented PCIe IP design team

  • Be at the forefront of innovation by working on leading edge technology to design blazing high speeds chip-to-chip interconnect IPs such as PCI Express, etc

  • We are looking for experts in IP architecture, microarchitecture and design


Responsibility includes

  • Evaluates complex hardware features and structures to ensure viability of implementation

  • Defines microarchitecture of hardware and performs peer reviews

  • Be responsible for leading project execution and tracking team's status

  • Performs logic design RTL coding and simulation to develop IPs and subsystems designs

  • Understanding and enhancement of processes in the FPGA development flow

  • Analysis of problem at hand and presenting of enhancement ideas

  • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers

Qualifications


  • MSEE or equivalent with 10 years, or BSEE or equivalent with 12 years of experience in IP / SoC design.

  • Strong in RTL design with Verilog and or VHDL

  • Strong in RTL verification and timing analysis closure on Linux/UNIX platforms

  • Knowledge on PCIe is a big plus

  • Hands on experience on leading project execution

  • Strong skills in communication, initiative, promote innovation and teamwork

  • Highly motivated to learn and adapt to fast changing technologies and environments

  • Demonstrates fundamental values such as accountability, integrity and a winning mindset

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills and a proven ability to work with challenging schedules.

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
