Full-Stack Software Engineer
Job Description
Designs, develops, tests, debugs and deploy software applications used by end users or integrated with other applications within manufacturing ecosystem.
- Development spans the full application stack including both frontend and backend application development.
- Uses modern software development methodologies and programming languages, follows secure coding practices and software legal compliance guidelines, analyzes user stories, writes both functional and test code, automates build and deployment, and performs unit integration and end to end testing of applications or systems.
- Solution develop with reusable software components, scalable framework and platform.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate solution with existing manufacturing systems, ensuring that the solutions are scalable, reliable, deliver tangible results and transform operations.
- Completes SDL tasks, document development processes and maintain comprehensive records of codebases as well as procedures for installation and maintenance. Interact with end users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in software development and evaluate their applicability to the manufacturing processes and ecosystems.

Qualification
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of industry/post-university experience in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or a related field with solid software programming experience.
OR
- Master's degree with some industry/post-university (internship) experience in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or a related field with strong software programming experience.
OR
- PhD with some experience in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or a related field with strong software programming experience.
Ideal candidate must have 3 months of experience in the following:
- Mastery of back-end/front-end software architecture and design practices is a must.
- Excellent demonstrated experience using current web technologies (examples and not limited to: .NET, API, NodeJS, Angular 10+)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fluency in C#/ASP.NET, Java, Python, SQL queries desired.
- Strong skills around integrating with RESTful APIs.
- Excellent demonstrated experience using current web technologies (ASP, AngularJS, NodeJS, React, VueJS, etc.).
- Experience in Windows, Linux and Cloud (e.g. Azure) platforms
- Experience in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
- Experience in leveraging open-source packages is desired.
- Experience with semiconductor manufacturing is a plus.
- Working knowledge of basic computer science data structures and algorithms.
- Experience in trouble shooting and root cause analysis for performance issues.
- Experience with source control tools (GIT) and ability to review code.
- Effective communication skills and experience with working in a cross-geo setup.
