We are seeking a highly motivated AI Research Scientist to join our team (AI Research Lab at Intel Labs China), focusing on cutting-edge AI algorithm research and Generative AI (GenAI) tech innovation. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AI, machine learning (ML), and deep neural networks, with a focus on core AI algorithm research for tech innovations to advance AI models/tools for Intel AI PC and Edge Computing. Responsibilities: 1. Conduct cutting-edge research in AI and ML, with a focus on developing efficient and scalable AI technologies and innovative GenAI solutions. 2. Develop and optimize algorithms for improving the scalability and efficiency of AI models. 3. Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and ML, and apply this knowledge to our research efforts. 4. Contribute to the design and implementation of advanced AI optimization tools and GenAI app prototypes that can help differentiate Intel AI platforms and solutions. 5. Publish research findings in top-tier journals/conferences, contributing to the broader AI community.

Qualifications


1. PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (with a focus on AI/ML).
2. Proven experience in AI research, particularly in innovative AI algorithm design and GenAI innovation, and strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and deep neural networks.
3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C/C++ and experience with AI platforms and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
5. Strong communication skills, and a track record of publishing research in top-tier AI/ML/CV journals/conferences.


Minimum Qualifications:
1. PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (with a focus on AI/ML).

2. Published related papers in top AI conferences/journals.

3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C/C++ and experience with AI platforms and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
