India Communications Manager
Job Description
Intel is looking for a motivated professional to join our Communications team to manage external communications for India. If you have great communication, storytelling and writing skills with previous experience of working in an agency and corporate environment and want to be part of one of the most important ongoing transformations in the semiconductor industry, we would love to hear from you.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across sales, marketing and engineering, you will help us drive integrated communications programs, bringing together the best of news generation, media and analyst relations, content creation, social, visuals, events, and thought leadership to deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities Include:
- Drive innovative and impactful communications campaigns that educate and excite tech enthusiasts, commercial and consumer audiences about Intel products and solutions.
- Create storylines that bring the application of Intel products to life, elevating Intel’s reputation as an innovator and technology leader.
- Effectively partner across India, APJ and HQ Communications teams including employee communications, corporate communications and analyst teams, to develop and deliver integrated communications programs.
- Effectively manage and utilize Intel's PR agencies to maximize results.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand and translate business goals into strategic PR and thought leadership programs that can be executed both directly and via third parties e.g., agencies, partners, etc.
- Proactively define, develop and drive strategic media relations efforts that contribute to a robust pipeline of customer stories that help shape a consistent narrative for Intel globally.
- Must have or demonstrate the ability to develop strong relationships with technology, business and consumer reporters, bloggers and new influencers who cover and closely follow the world of computing, technology and AI etc.
- Be well-versed on the current traditional and social media environment in relation to Intel's business as well as the broader industry.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Preferred Education Background: Bachelor's degree, ideally where you have studied public relations or marketing and communications as a degree or part of your degree.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in communications, preferably in the technology industry.
- Ability to think strategically and ensure relevancy by "connecting-the-dots" and effectively map Intel's business objectives to conversations in the marketplace.
- A rich mix of communications competencies is preferred, such as strategy and message development and tactical execution for major product launches, executing public relations campaigns and utilizing different communications vehicles such as print, broadcast, online and social media.
Additional skills/capabilities include:
- Ability to be a confident and capable frontline spokesperson.
- Customer and team oriented.
- Builds strong relationships and can successfully collaborate with peers across Intel and partner companies.
- Strong communicator. Possesses solid written and verbal communication skills and can craft and deliver key messages to a variety of audiences.
- Is adept at translating technical topics into easy-to-understand and relevant language.
- Proven ability to be hands-on and strategic able to execute plans as well as help develop strategy and work across multiple product lines.
- Able to respond to new and changing requirements based on both a dynamic market and company environment.
