Principal System Security Architect
Job Description
The Systems Architecture and Engineering team is developing new secure solutions for multiple US government programs. These solutions will include derivatives from existing commercial products as well as the development of new and novel technologies and product architectures. If you have a strong interest in working on cutting-edge security solutions used in support of critical government and military programs, this is the team to join.
The Principal System Security Architect role will work with US Government customers to define future architectures and products to address national security needs. Candidates will be responsible for defining program objectives, generating proposals, leading execution teams, and delivering final products. The position will manage product/ POC needs and drive new technologies, such as chiplet design, secure interface definitions, package-level integrity protections, design validation, and overall supply chain security. This position will require cross division collaboration between various business units and organizations. Candidate will also have the opportunity to evaluate and collaborate with external companies as potential partners in solution development.
Responsibilities will include:
Drive security requirements for next generation, custom Intel products.
Develop long-term roadmaps for these features to minimize cost and maximize re-use across product lines.
Align solutions with commercial product BUs to define waterfall intercepts of advanced technologies into commercial products.
Work with business unit and engineering team architects to create straw-man proposals for system and security technologies.
Coordinate multi-disciplinary, multi-division teams internal and external to the company to evaluate and evolve these features until they provide a clear value proposition for Intel or are documented and dropped.
Coordinate alignment of these features to product families in ensuring any required building blocks reach maturity on the required timelines.
Coordinate demonstrations of new features using test chips and, as needed, custom test packaging.
