Mechanical Engineer
Job Description

REOS is looking for an experienced Mechanical engineer to support Intel's facilities in Israel's Research and Development sites. In this position, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Ensure availability, reliability, and maintenance of mechanical systems: oil-free air systems, compressed air systems, HVAC systems, chilled water plant, boilers, environmental compliance exhaust, ventilation, PCW (process cool water), water treatment, plumping, sprinkler and fire systems, vacuum, water and sewage infrastructures to assure optimal performance, with zero interruption to production/services.
- Support daily tactical efforts in safety, reliability, and environmental objectives of facilities mechanical systems.
- Design and analyze mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging and troubleshoots mechanical systems systematic issues and provides evaluation, recommendations, and solutions to resolve problems.
- Develop engineering scope for all systems under responsibility, and provide engineering design review and evaluation of mechanical systems, including design review, submittal approvals, value engineering alternatives, etc.
- Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs, direct support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing, and prototype fabrication, and provide design information to drafting for packaging documentation.
- Partner with business unit customers and internal customers to provide engineering solutions in support of their equipment and systems, including Data Centers, Labs and Office Spaces.
- Partner with operations and maintenance service providers to ensure mechanical systems are maintained, operating and performing in optimal conditions, within specified limits.
- Develop mechanical systems roadmap and asset replacement strategy to ensure reliability, redundancy, and capacity are available for expansion of existing facilities, renovation, and growth.
- Initiate and execute energy saving projects to meet corporate goals.
- Collaborate with EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) to maintain compliance with all local laws and corporate guidelines.

- Domain Expertise in the Mechanical field.
- Machinery and Equipment Management: Knowledge of design, operation, repair, and maintenance of all heavy and light mechanical machinery and equipment used in the facility.
- Mechanical Systems Management: Ability to understand, test, and redesign mechanical systems regularly.
- Preventive Maintenance: Ability to perform routine maintenance of equipment and assets to keep them running and prevent downtime.
- Problem identification: Ability to identify inconsistencies, problems, or improper functioning of processes, equipment, or complete/partial systems and identify the root cause.
- Systems Design and Management: Ability to understand system designs, blueprints, or engineering diagrams and point out faults/shortcomings and make changes to the systems basis requirements.
- Supplier management is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Mechanical engineer - At least 5 years' experience in this area of expertise. - "Hands on" engineer, with proven field experience. - High level of English, both written and verbal.Inside this Business Group
