We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Lab Manager to lead the successful operation of all Client Validation Engineering (CVE) labs globally. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality execution of the labs' global support model, maintaining lab readiness, and overseeing the global lab budget. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive efficiency and standardization across multiple lab environments. Experience managing diverse, cross-functional global teams is essential to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment with global business objectives.

As a Lab Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Manage the global lab budget, focusing on cost savings and efficiencies through reuse across client lab teams.
Ensure lab readiness for each new generation of client products, including capacity planning and infrastructure capabilities.
Facilitate the standardization of processes and consistent use of lab tools for asset management, daily lab operations, and platform tracking.
Develop and mentor lab staff globally, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and validation teams across multiple geographies, to align lab activities with company objectives and product development timelines.
Oversee the operation of all CVE labs globally, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Implement and maintain the global support model (GSM), which includes system and board support, platform debug and repair, soldering, compute resources, safety protocols, HVPIP reconciliation, security measures, and asset management.
Support engineers and validation teams in their daily tasks, ensuring they have the necessary resources to achieve product quality.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum skills and experience that will get you noticed:
Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
Candidate must have 10+ years of experience with all ofthe following:
Managing and maintaining high-complexity engineering labs
Hands-on experience with validation methodologies, including hardware and software testing.
Developing and implementing operational processes for lab efficiency and utilization.
Leading and managing cross-functional teams in a lab or technical setting.
or Master's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field with 6 + yrs experience in the above mentioned field.
Preferred skills and experience that will make you stand out:
ExperienceWorking withlab management tools and workflow automation (e.g., lab inventory management systems).
Experience managing global teams, ensuring collaboration across time zones and regions.
Experience with budget management and cost optimization strategies.
Knowledge of safety regulations and security protocols in a lab setting.
