Come build a future with us. Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join the Intel Government Technologies to lead our efforts to grow our Federal Product Development Team. Intel Government Technologies (IGT) is responsible for managing Intel's business with the US Federal Government. We collaborate with sales and marketing, government affairs, and Intel business units (BUs) to develop and execute programs for US Government (USG) agencies. Intel Government Technologies works with and across the defense industrial base (DIB) and partner ecosystem to deliver mission solutions to USG customers.

IGT's Mission: Drive rapid, sustained, profitable growth of Intel's business in the Federal markets in partnership with product, research, and foundry teams while maintaining compliant execution of programs. Our objective is to establish Intel as the national champion for semiconductors.

IGT is looking for an experienced Business Development Professional that is based in the Washington DC area who wants to work in this dynamic and growing environment. The right candidate will work directly in support of the IGT's Products Pillar. This role will work with various stakeholders in IGT and Product Managers in the business units to develop opportunities associated with the Enhanced Commercial Off-The-Shelf (eCOTs), custom silicon, and other key product initiatives.

The successful incumbent will have but not limited to:

  • Must be comfortable working in an ambiguous environment, when there are constant demands for data and structure that may not currently exist.

  • Support the IGT's Products Pillar lead with growth strategies and other functions as necessary.

  • Proven experience in driving business development campaigns and development of a portfolio of opportunities.

  • Once identified, it is expected that this person will be able to advocate and evangelize Intel's capability offerings, drive projects and build-out customer strategies that are complemented by Intel's product roadmap.

  • Good working knowledge of the microelectronics industry and the ecosystem in the US Government market.

  • Good working knowledge of Microelectronics Product Development, Research and Development through technical readiness levels and Foundry operations and the product design process.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree in business, engineering, math, science, marketing, management, or a related field relevant experience in sales, marketing, and product development.

  • Experience with US Government Contracts and/or proposals for US Government Contracts, (FAR, CAS regulations). 

  • 9+ years of product development experience in the government market for microelectronics.

  • 9+ years of experience leading medium and large-scale business development campaigns and contracts.

  • Experience or training in the Shipley process.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS or MBA degree in business, engineering, math, science, marketing, management, or a related field relevant experience in sales, marketing, and product development.

9+ years of experience in some of the following:

  • Experience with federal procurement processes, regulations (e.g. FAR/DFARS), and contracting vehicles.

  • Experience with programs with federal information handling and security requirements.

  • CRM tools such as Salesforce.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $294,300.00-$415,480.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model
