Industry Technical Sales Specialist (ITS)

The Sales and Marketing Group - Middle East and Africa (MEA) Organization is looking for a strong collaborative and inclusive Industry Technical Sales Specialist (ITS) based in Dubai and responsible for growing Intel's business in MEA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the technical account plan to grow Intel's revenue and executive relationship with leading Cloud and AI customers and service providers based in the MEA region.
Candidates will have a strong experience in AI, data center and cloud services architecture.
The successful candidate will also have experience working at or with leading Cloud Service Providers, Internet Portal/Search Companies, Multinational Cloud Equipment Manufacturers, XaaS Companies or System Integrators and ISVs.
The Technical presales Specialist will be supported by Intel's worldwide AI and Cloud Solution Architects and related business units to identify new sales opportunities.
The ideal candidate should be capable of: building strong, direct relationships with senior technical contacts, including Solution Architects and Technologists, comprehend Intel architectures and partner solution offerings targeted at AI and cloud service provider infrastructure.
They should be able to strongly position themselves and Intel as the trusted advisor in solving challenging technical and business problems.
This person must be able to stay current on emerging industry trends, technologies and issues.
This person must have demonstrated the ability to identify and drive customer requirements and market needs into actionable goals.
The success of the presales technical presales specialist role is determined by good understanding of customer requirements, using POCs to drive the early technology adoption that results in creating demand for Intel solutions.
In this role you will be responsible for meeting or exceeding development sales and design win KPI s and OKRs.
You will also be accountable for the development and execution of growth strategies for assigned customer globally in collaboration with BU and SMG peers across the applicable sales motions.
Qualifications
BSc in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or equivalent 5 years industry experience or equivalent in a technical presales role.
Strong experience selling technical AI and Cloud Solutions required - Public, Private, Hybrid.
Strong understanding of AI and Cloud service provider's architecture and ability to describe their technology architecture and transformation plans.
Strong understanding of Intel's PC, server, networking, storage products and especially software and how these fit into next generation Cloud Services.
The candidate must have excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to represent Intel in the industry as a business and technology evangelist for Intel's AI and product strategy.
This person must be comfortable working at senior levels within Intel and within their customer and have demonstrated the ability to identify and drive customer requirements and market needs into actionable goals.
Strong collaboration skills required. Business Travel is required.
Additional qualifications/skills:
Knowledge of Software-Defined Infrastructure Solutions for Compute, Storage, Networking.
Fluent Arabic speaker preferred.
Previous Middle East experience is a must.
Immigration/Relocation support is not available for this role.
