The Network and Edge group (NEX) at Intel drives the software-defined transformation of the world's infrastructure - in data centers, in networks, and at the edge. We are a team of problem solvers, experimenters, and innovators who are dedicated to designing the network technologies that currently lead and continue to transform data-center and AI ecosystems.

We are seeking an experienced hardware security architect/researcher responsible for designing, developing, and implementing secure hardware solutions for our advanced SoC platforms. As a hardware security architect in the Network and Edge group you will:
� Design and develop secure hardware architectures for SoC platforms.
� Evaluate and analyze hardware security features of SoCs.
� Develop and implement hardware security specifications and plans.
� Collaborate with design and development teams to integrate security measures into hardware designs.
� Conduct vulnerability and threat analysis of proposed and existing hardware architectures.
� Develop and implement strategies for hardware security testing and validation.
� Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in hardware security.
� Provide technical guidance and support to the team on hardware security issues.
� Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of security into all phases of product development.

Qualifications


Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:
� B.Tech/ M.Tech degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
� 8+ years of relevant experience (5+ years in a security role).
� Deep understanding of hardware security principles and SoC architecture.
� Programming proficiency across languages: System Verilog, C/C++, Python/Perl scripting, etc.
� Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
� Ability to work in an unstructured start-up like environment with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:
� Proven experience as a hardware security architect or similar role.
� Familiarity with hardware security vulnerabilities and mitigations.
� Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to hardware security.
� Excellent communication and negotiation skills to be able to influence internal and external customers.
� Expertise in vulnerability research, exploit development and responsible disclosure.

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
