Analog Circuit Design Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Analog Circuit Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in shaping innovative solutions while mentoring and collaborating with a talented team of engineers.
As an Analog Circuit Design Lead, you'll be responsible for but not limited to the following
- Manage design and development of analog circuits, including Transmitter, Receiver, Equalizers, Serdes, Clocking & Power delivery circuits like PLL, DLL, QLL , LDOs etc
- Work closely with system architects, digital design teams, layout engineers, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of analog components into overall system designs.
- Manage resource allocation, set priorities and ensure the team meets project goals and deadlines
- Perform detailed design reviews and provide hands-on technical support during critical phases of development.
- Define project requirements, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Ensure all designs meet or exceed industry standards, including reliability, manufacturability, and compliance requirements (e.g., EMI/EMC, thermal performance).
- Establish and enforce best practices and design guidelines within the team
- Oversee the creation of detailed documentation, including schematics, specifications, test reports, and technical presentations.
- Communicate project status, risks, and achievements to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates
Minimum Qualifications:
PhD degree with 10+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Engineering Physics, or other or related field
12+ years of hands-on experience in high speed analog circuit design, with a proven track record of successful projects.
Expertise in designing and verifying analog circuits such as Transceivers, amplifiers, PLLs, voltage regulators, and data converters.
Proficiency in using EDA tools like Cadence Virtuoso, SPICE, or Synopsys.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven track record of delivering successful products from concept to volume production.
Strong project management skills, with experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
