Job Description


Performing reliability DOE with minimum supervision to assess a photonic component's reliability; the goal is to convert the successful intern into a full-time SiPh production QRE locating in NM, Fab11x. Measurable Outcomes: At the end of the internship, the successful intern would be able to develop, apply, and maintain quality and reliability standards for Silicon Photonics (SiPh) processing materials into partially finished or finished product to meet Intel's stringent quality and reliability requirements.


Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:
MSc in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, photonic devices, or related fields; 6+ months of relevant engineering experience in semiconductor fab process, device characterization, yield, reliability, or test/validation and influencing cross-functional teams to achieve extraordinary results.

Preferred Qualifications:
PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, photonic devices, or related fields; 6+ months experience in process certification/product qualification and reliability risk assessment, quality systems, and quality culture knowledge.

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
