About the Role

Altera is looking for a Processor subsystem leader on our next generation, flagship FPGA product. This is a highly complex SOC with leading edge IP and a market leading programmable fabric. The processor sub-systems on the FPGA include embedded multiple ARM cores, as well as processor-based configuration and security systems. In this role, you will be owning the overall implementation of these critical subsystems on all products. The responsibilities include managing the design team and working with cross-functional leaders in architecture, software, firmware, validation, and applications teams to participate and drive overall processor solutions for the product.


Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 12+ years of design and/or validation experience
  • 10+ years of experience leading a large projects in processor-based systems at leading edge
  • 10+ years of managing development teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Senior management experience in FPGA product development
  • Experience collaborating with software development teams

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $219,352.00-$351,256.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
