Senior System Integration and Validation Engineer
Job Description
We invite you to join Intel's Smart NIC Ethernet System Integration and Validation Networking Group. In this role, you will work with the most advanced tools, methodologies, and designs to influence the future of networking. Our team develops high-speed Ethernet controller ASICs featuring advanced cryptographic and compression capabilities, hardware-based storage protocols, and computational functionalities. These products are pivotal to Intel’s Data Centric strategy, significantly impacting data centers and leading companies across the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Innovative Development: Develop advanced system engineering flows for Intel's latest server and data center products, with a focus on networking technologies.
Comprehensive Validation: Define and develop system Integration and validation environments, construct test cases, and validate them using emulation and platform-level techniques to ensure functionality and performance aligns with specifications.
Architectural Collaboration: Analyze system architecture and requirements, collaborating with system architects, designers, and firmware engineers to address these through comprehensive test plans.
Hands-on Execution: Play an active role in integration, feature/product enabling, bring-up and debug activities, and investigate the root cause of test case failures to provide corrective actions in collaboration with development teams. Define and draft automatic test plans and system test procedures for pre-silicon and silicon SoC.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's/master's in Electrical/Computer Science engineering.
Work Experience: 5+ years of system integration and validation experience in pre/post silicon.
Technical Skills:
Extensive knowledge of hardware/software interfaces and networking protocols.
Proficiency in Linux-based development environments.
Strong programming experience in C, C++, and Python.
Expertise in networking technologies and protocols, including Ethernet, TCP/IP, RDMA, and NVMe.
Experience in planning, estimating, and developing system tests, with a focus on automation in validation environments.
Comprehensive understanding of embedded systems from a multidisciplinary and systematic perspective.
