Job Description


  • Performs technical tests, audits, and experiments in support of design, development, and implementation related activities for scientific research projects across wafer and packaging processing.

  • Conducts visual analysis, data gathering and analysis, tool maintenance, lot file setup, failure analysis, and process integration and yield analysis in etest assessment of novel devices, packages, and interconnects, including but not limited to DC testing, RF smallsignal and largesignal characterization techniques, pulsing, stressing, etc.

  • Performs activities for automated and electrical testing of nonstandard material along with standard 300mm CMOS etest, and sets up electrical test packages for a wide variety of devices with uses in memory, logic, analog, or magnetic applications.

  • Supports development of nonstandard testing procedures for novel materials in support of engineering and research activities, electrical test trouble shooting and fault isolation on systems and equipment.

  • Performs activities related to operation, maintenance, and repair of specialized processing equipment inside and outside of a clean room environment to keep output high without compromising safety or quality.

  • Monitors and audits the semiconductor manufacturing process, and processes test runs to determine results of modifications.

  • Documents and communicates findings related to failures to peers, line operators, and managers.

  • Makes recommendations to modify equipment and/or processes to improve yield results.

  • Participates in safety forums and site Emergency Response Team as required to advise personnel of potential threat and/or initiate evacuation procedures.


Qualifications


Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Possess a minimum of an Associates degree in a STEM field

OR

  • 2+ Years Working in a fab or lab environment


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with one or more of the following:

  • Machine/PC troubleshooting

  • Maintenance of manufacturing equipment

  • Other cleanroom/fab technical role


Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $55,400.00-$80,550.00 (Hourly Role)
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
