SAP IT Business Systems Analyst
Job Description
Intel is on a multi-year supply chain transformational journey. The Integrated Device Manufacturing 2.0 (IDM 2.0) Acceleration Office (IAO) is responsible for creating the internal foundry model within Intel that will power the next phase of our IDM 2.0 strategy. Implementing an internal foundry model means significant transformation to Intel's Supply Chain. The Order to Cash team is chartered with delivering and maintaining capabilities that equip the business with accurate, reliable, off-the-shelf solutions within the SAP S/4 HANA Platform. We are looking for a seasoned SAP Systems Analyst with broad design and configuration expertise across SAP S/4 Sales and Distribution - Returns Management, Warranty and Entitlements. The ideal candidate will bring subject matter expertise, to enable business process transformation aligned to native SAP functionality.
As a SAP functional Analyst responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:
- Working through the entire software development lifecycle, identifies business requirements, functional and system specifications that meet business user requirements, maps them to systems capabilities and recommends integrated technical solutions in SAP and its integrations with non-SAP IT applications
- Partner with Business Subject Matter Experts, Application Developers, other project team members to arrive at key business decisions as it relates to process changes and system configuration and interfaces
- Plans and executes unit, functional/integration, and acceptance testing, and creates systems specifications. Identifies test scenarios and cases, executes test cases, documents test results, test scripts and provides quality assurance results to the business
- Preparing and maintaining technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system
- Collaborate with team members to identify and consider solution options ensuring design meets performance, usability, reliability, and scalability requirements
- Performs troubleshooting, solves complex bug issues in production systems or applications, and collaborates with subject matter experts on issues
- Anticipates complex issues and discusses within and outside of project team to maintain open communication
- Identifying opportunities to automate business process and provide consultation to users on standard SAP functionality
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant area of study
- 8 years of IT work experience implementing software solutions
- Expertise in SAP S/4 configuration with at least 5+ years of experience in full cycle implementation of SAP Sales and Distribution module
- Experienced across all phases of the software development lifecycle. Agile methodology experience with strong User Story and User Acceptance Test documentation skills
- Strong stakeholder and end user collaboration skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in large scale business transformation
- Proven track record and experience in contributing to SAP implementations with large global enterprises across multiple legal entities in a highly complex systems and project environment.
- Strong understanding Order to Cash business processes, Returns Management, Warranty and Entitlement Management, and ability to map business requirements to standard SAP processes with minimal or no customization.
- Experience with S/4 SAP Advanced Returns Management Module (ARM) is a plus
- Knowledge of SAP Entitlement Management System (EMS) would be an added advantage
