About DASE:

The DCAI and Silicon Eng Team (DASE) has three imperatives for 2025: 1) Reinvigorate x86 Leadership: Deliver leadership Xeon products on a market cadence that meets customer demands, 2) Innovate in Efficient AI Systems: Develop programmable accelerators and products to establish significant presence in the AI datacenter, and 3) Develop Differentiated IP: Deliver differentiated IP that enhances product performance and competitiveness in both Xeon and AI platforms.

About the Role:

The DASE AI architecture group is focused on execution in strategic growth areas of GPU-accelerated AI and graphics for enterprise, and datacenter customers, as well as high-performance computing (HPC).
In this position, the candidate would help define the architecture for next generation SoCs used within Intel's advanced computing and graphics products. The candidate is expected to actively collaborate with other architects as well as design and software engineers working on complex discrete graphics SoCs.

Responsibilities::

  • Work with a global team of architects and software engineers to successfully deliver cutting edge SoCs.
  • Help to define fabric, memory, IOs, graphics, media and other IP that will be delivered into future products.
  • Drive architecture and methodology to improve power and performance.
  • Work in close collaboration with planning teams, architects, verification, DFT, software, physical design and post-silicon teams.
  • Drive resolution of issues with IP and SoC development teams to meet schedule and quality.

The candidate should exhibit:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive drive to achieve high-quality results through strong team-work.
  • Proven ability to drive solutions to complex cross-functional technical problems working with senior technical peers/partner organizations.
  • Solid breadth of design expertise spanning all phases of the design cycle.
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and seamlessly multitask

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors with 10+ years of experience or master's with 5+ years of experience higher in Computer/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience leading SoC design and architecture.
  • Good understanding of cache coherence protocols, high performance network-on-chip design, performance and power modeling, IP integration, DV and constraints.
  • Multiple successful completed designs through tapeout
  • VLSI design experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Graphics IP and Discrete Graphics SoC architecture
  • Low power design

  • CXL and PCIE
  • Python , C++

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $214,730.00-$303,140.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. * Job posting details (such as work model, location or time type) are subject to change.
