Job Description


The successful candidate will be part of the Client Ecosystem Development (CED) team, working with external 3rd Party display vendors to deliver co-validated platforms in support of Intel's defined display/touch enabling programs. The candidate will support or lead the project by applying general PC platform knowledge and display design/driver expertise to the product and will participate in weekly meetings to solve display design/driver issues to ensure they are ready for launch. The candidate will negotiate realistic schedules with the team lead, manage task priority and drive vendor programs to deliver committed projects on time. In addition, the candidate will be required to identify and work issues with the vendors, Engineering Groups, Marketing, Initiative groups, and other teams across Intel by providing the data necessary to help drive business issues into the project and improve the product's competitiveness. Moreover, the successful candidate will understand the product positions and will reinforce key messages with the vendors, field, and customers. The candidate will develop a growing and consistent knowledge of their products and will use this effectively to support product introduction and volume production ramp.

Qualifications


  • Master's Degree with over 10 years of experience in display field.
  • Knowledge of Display technology
  • Knowledge of the PC hardware and software architecture
  • Proven track record on cross group collaborative skills
  • Ability to understand, specify and communicate requirements to marketing and engineering teams
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent customer support skills
  • Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment and to achieve high quality results
  • Ability to travel
  • Fluent in English is a must, ability with Japanese or Korean will be a plus
  • Experienced in Embedded Display Port (eDP) will be preferred

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
