The Intel Customer Solution Architecture (CSA) team is seeking an experienced Customer Solutions Architect to fill the role of Automotive Solutions. The CSA team is chartered to transform the automotive market by solving our customers toughest challenges with innovative hardware and software product offerings. Silicon as a percent of a vehicle's BOM is expected to grow from 5 percent today to 20 percent by the end of the decade. By joining the Intel Automotive Product Architecture and Planning Team, you will have a front row seat to this trend and take part in realizing the vision for the future of Automotive transportation. The Automotive Software Customer Solution Architect's main tasks are to work with automotive OEM/Tier-1 customers and IA to characterize a customer business problem that can be solved with an Intel Automotive Software solution. The Automotive Software Customer Solution Architect will collaborate with their peer Hardware Customer Solution Architect and will play a key role in developing and driving the strategy for Intel's software offering in the Automotive space. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: - Work with automotive OEM or Tier-1 customer to create end user pull for Intel Automotive solution by providing unique insight into the technology that can most optimally solve the customer's business need, and by setting expectations for cost, features, and schedule - Analyze overall platform architecture and partitioning between hardware and software to meet use cases and workloads in terms of performance, scalability, manageability, reliability, and security requirements - Support the solutions team, consisting of Intel Automotive product architects, HW Eng, SW Eng and Customer Enabling Engineers, Tier-1s or ODMs and/or 3rd party technology providers, through the product definition process, translating the customer requirements and business opportunity into a User Experience and use cases from which the Product Requirements Document (PRD) is developed - Collaborate with the product team, participating in the design decisions to make tradeoffs between use cases and cost/schedule/feature expectations - Work closely with market development, product planning and SMG CoE Auto to provide automotive use case driven features and performance requirements that influence the base platform roadmap to beat competition - Influences the shaping of future products/solutions by significantly contributing to the architecture and technology required by customers in future. Provides multi-layered technical expertise for next generation initiatives - Establishes sustainable and trustful customer relationships that are built on execution performance and addressing customer needs

Qualifications


A successful candidate will exhibit the following behavioral traits: - Solid technical understanding of Intel products and solutions relevant for automotive customer solutions - Proven track record initiating and maintaining sustainable customer relationship - Willing to manage and prioritize tasks in a very dynamic, fast paced environment with limited guidance and supervision is critical - Willing to work in a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous environment - Capacity to work in close collaboration in a highly matrixed organization with the IA business unit, SMG, technology experts at Intel - High level of interpersonal skills such as teamwork, communication and business skills to execute tasks effectively and efficiently Minimum Required Qualifications: -Bachelor's Degree in Science or equivalent degree 5+ years working in automotive industry, experience in OEM or Tier-1 is a great plus 5+ years of engineering, architecture or other R andD discipline, particularly in area of E/E Architecture Preferred Qualifications: - MBA is a plus. -Proven track record identifying Intel based automotive solution for mass volume automotive OEM product -Solid technical understanding of Intel products and solutions relevant for automotive customer solutions

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
