The Executive Productions team leads the creation, production, and distribution of executive communications through live and virtual speaking events. The Technology Program Manager will serve a key role in the design, implementation and technical execution of internal and external communications and events. Primary responsibility includes the planning, coordination, documenting, and operations of technical broadcast equipment: Off-Site Conferences, Live Webcasts, Studio Broadcast, Large Events and Live Event recordings. This role supports the delivery of strategic leadership communications to employees, media, analysts, investors, and industry audiences.

With over 600 events produced in the studio annually, this job role requires a strong One Intel collaborative mindset to serve as the primary customer point of contact; initiate coordination of project details, make recommendations and plan show flow; organize support crew; consolidate presentation materials; prep presenters; coordinate post-production. As a part of Executive Event Productions, this role is mission critical to creating a consistent end to end engagement process and VIP experience for our stakeholders.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented Broadcast / Production Engineer to join our team to serve as the Broadcast/ Technology Program Manager.

The Broadcast/ Technology Program Manager will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, maintaining, and operating our broadcast infrastructure to ensure seamless operations and exceptional production quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the success of our corporate broadcast initiatives.

As a Broadcast/ Technology Program Manager your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Install, configure, and maintain broadcast systems, including studio control rooms, webcast stations and postproduction archival systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of broadcast and production equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Operate equipment serving as TD, A1, GFX and other positions.
  • Collaborate with production teams to support live broadcasts, events, and studio productions, ensuring smooth operation and high-quality output.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary equipment, parts, and services for broadcast operations.
  • Implement and maintain broadcast automation systems to streamline workflow and enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for workflows and signal diagrams.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry standards, and best practices in broadcast engineering.
  • Provide technical support and training to broadcast operators and production staff as needed.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required for broadcast operations.

Qualifications


Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship..

Minimum skills:

Candidate must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, broadcast engineering, communications, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in studio and/or remote broadcast
  • 5+ years of experience as a broadcast engineer in a broadcast facility or production environment
  • 5+ years of experience in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting broadcast equipment such as cameras, microphones, mixers, routers, switchers, encoders, and transmitters. Knowledge of signal flow, audio/video codecs, compression techniques, and broadcast standards is essential.

Preferred skills:

Candidate must have 5+ years of experience with the following:

  • Blackmagic, Ross, Vmix, Tricaster and NDI workflows
  • Broadcast equipment, systems, and standards, including SDI, HD-SDI, 4K, IP, MPEG, and H.264/HEVC codecs.
  • Broadcast automation systems, playout servers, routers, switchers, and signal processing equipment
  • Broadcast transmission technologies
  • Project management experience managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $105,797.00-$175,105.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
