Today we invite you to join the team and begin your career as a Manufacturing Support Student Worker for the Costa Rica Intel Factory.
The Manufacturing Support Student Worker owns product/process-projects delivery indicators and work closely with Operations and Engineering teams to ensure deliveries are met. This position's responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Support Manufacturing Operations Engineering tasks within a factory environment: planning, execution and follow up, in-process material management, determines the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow, establishes methods to maximize utilization of production facilities and resources, inventory management, supplier characterization and monitoring.
- Joins effort to propose and/or validate equipment and factory capacity/output metrics and to identify process flow bottlenecks and constrains.
- Create and follow up manufacturing operations key performance indicators.


- Operation's execution strategy improvement opportunities and daily activities follow up and closure.

- Good operation and technical leadership, systematic problem-solving skills for dealing with dynamic business challenges with factory internal or cross business unit stakeholders.

- Talent to develop strategy and robust process related to a broad range of production delivery issues management.


Qualifications


Minimum qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.
Active student of Industrial Engineering, Industrial Production or related engineering field (Remain as an active student for at least 1 year).
6+ months of experience in Data analytics (using Excel or other Statistical software package).
Open to work 36 hours weekly.
Intermediate to advanced English Level.
Unrestricted Costa Rica work permit.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates:
Experience in data extraction, analytics, report out using Power BI, Phyton, other analytical tools.
Project management skills.
Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma knowledge.
