Intel's Foundry Technology Development Design Enablement (DE) organization is looking for a talented individual to support the organization's adoption of Jira Software and Jira Service Management as an Application Software Engineer. This role will be responsible for project
administration, project customizations, automation, and end user support. This role will also include working closely with partner organizations to ensure DE is following best known methods and processes for our Jira instances.
The primary responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:
- Project administration for both Jira Software and Jira Service Management instances including project creation, customizations, and automations.
- Integrate of Jira Software projects and Jira Service Management projects.
- Integrate Jira instances with other systems such as 1Source GitHub, Manufacturing GitHub, ServiceNow, internal systems, etc
- Work with Jira migration teams and post-migration DE teams to solve migration issues.
- Provide training sessions for system admins and end-users on how to effectively use and manage the Jira instances.
- Create documentation, including user guides and system administration manuals to support ongoing usage and maintenance of the Jira instances.
- Develop testing and coordinate with TD on designs and architectural changes.
- Connect with stakeholders to define the path forward as well as provide status reports.
- Provide support for DE Jira stakeholders.

Qualifications



Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

- At least 2 years of experience on the following:
Jira administration and support experience.
Software design and development.

- Advanced English level

- Costa Rican unrestricted work permit


Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
- Experience with Github.
- Experience with Scriptrunner and Configuration Manager.
- Global cultural orientation and working experience is a plus.
- Experience with Python.
- Experience with Linux OS.

- Project Manager.

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
