Join our Intel Fab Construction Enterprise (FCE) in building the world's largest semiconductor manufacturing factories across the globe. The future is what we build. Our enterprise manages a portfolio of capital projects on-site with a large contractor workforce that encompasses outsourced general contractors, A/E firms, and key trade companies in the Semiconductor Construction Industry. The scope of our work includes but is not limited to New Wafer Fabrication factories (Fabs), Fab Conversions, Process Tools Install, Infrastructure, and Progressive Build. The scope of the FCE Governance Team includes (but is not limited to) ensuring that construction projects are executed according to established standards and Intel Construction Management Policy. The team provides guidance and support to project teams to ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. They also review and evaluate project proposals and plans to ensure that they align with company policies and corporate goals. Additionally, the Construction Governance team plays a key role in identifying and mitigating risks associated with construction projects and ensuring that project documentation is complete and accurate. This is a hybrid Internship full time for Summer 2024 with option to extend to a part time schedule during terms. As a Technical Construction Governance Intern your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: - Assist in technical writing of policies, procedures, manuals and other documentation related to construction governance processes. - Help with the development and implementation of processes related to construction governance and project management. - Support the team in creating training materials and conducting training sessions related to construction governance processes. - Collaborate with other departments to ensure that governance processes are being followed and identify opportunities for improvement. - Participate in project planning meetings and assist with the implementation of new processes and technologies. - Help to maintain and update the SharePoint site for construction governance, ensuring that all information is up to date and easily accessible. - Utilize Power Apps and Power Automate to streamline and automate construction governance processes. - Build and drive safety culture of caring in every business environment, office to the construction sites, and from front-end planning to construction execution. Qualifications


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience. This position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship. Intel sponsors individuals for employment-based visas for positions where we experience a shortage of US Workers. These skills shortage roles are typically STEM contributing positions requiring a Master's or PhD degree, or a Bachelor's degree with three years' related job experience. This position does not qualify for Intel Sponsorship because it is either (1) a non-STEM contributing position, or (2) a STEM position that only requires a Bachelor's degree and less than three years' experience. Minimum Qualifications: The candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in either Engineering or Construction Management or Business Administration or a closely related field and be enrolled in 300 level course work (junior status). Preferred Qualifications: Data management related major. Familiar with MS365 suite, including SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate Familiar with Smartsheet Prior internship experience. Experience in Python / VBA.

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
