This position is within the Design Enablement (DE) which is one of the key pillars enabling Intel to deliver winning products in the marketplace. As part of the Design Enablement/Process Design Kit (PDK) group, you will join a highly motivated team of talented engineers solving challenging technical problems enabling PDKs for Intel's most advanced process technologies and drive PDKs towards industry standard methods and ease of use for the end customers.

The Process Development kit (PDK) Customer Support team within this organization is looking for Customer Obsessed individual in the area of Reliability Verification (RV) support to provide a positive experience to our customers. Intel RV includes EMIR, Thermal, ESD, PERC and HVEOS areas. The candidate would be expected to help resolve the customer issues they see while using the PDK collateral in RV tools. In addition, the candidate would prepare training material to inform and educate customers on PDK collateral usage.

- Verbal communication, technical writing skills, and presentation skills.

Qualifications


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Qualifications: Candidate must possess a BS degree with 3+ years of experience or MS degree 2+ years of experience or PhD degree with 1+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or relevant scientific STEM major . 3+ years of experience in at least one of the following areas: - Working knowledge of using either of following tools: Synopsys CustomSimRA, Cadence Voltus/VoltusFi, Ansys Totem/RedhawkSC, PERC features in Calibre/ICV/Pegasus. - Semiconductor reliability physics and failure mechanisms including electromigration (EM), latchup (LU), or electrostatic discharge (ESD), Electrical Over Stress (EOS) or Gradual Aging. - Custom circuit simulation (HSPICE, Spectre, or equivalent), Layout editing (Virtuoso or equivalent), Layout verification (ICV, Calibre, or equivalent), or RC Extraction (StarRC QRC or equivalent). - Intel and/or external foundry process technology knowledge in advance nodes.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $123,419.00-$185,123.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
