Intel Flex in Software Advance Technology Group is an Embedded Consulting Unit that works across different business units, functional groups and product teams to deliver high impact results to Intel; Through software engineering services, solution development, organization transformation, project/program management and outsourcing management. As an Intel flex software engineer, you will have opportunity to move between projects in various product groups to gain experience, learning new skills and growing your cross organization professional network while making high-value contributions across the company. Management will work with you to prioritize projects that align with your skills and your areas of growing interest.

It is a role who can architect and design end-to-end solution with Intel technologies. The responsibilities for the role including but not limited to perform solution definition, solution pathfinding and components development. The role requires to lead and guide the engineering team to design, develop, integrate, test, validate, and debug software across multiple layers of the software stack, spanning across firmware, drivers, operating systems, middleware, frameworks, algorithms, and applications/UI for a specific technology, product, platform, and market segment. The role shall also lead the development of software to enable specific features, capabilities, solutions, reference platforms, or Intel products.

Qualifications

Master's Degree/ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering or any other related field with minimum 8 years or related working experience.
Good programming skills in one of the popular programming languages, like C/C++, Python, Golang.
Good project management and stakeholder management skills.
Familiar with Intel technologies and product lines with practical experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

Embedded systems, microcontrollers, CPU architecture.
Demonstrated work experience in system software engineering.
Linux Kernel, Device Drivers, RTOS, Open Source, Embedded software development.
Low-level Virtual Platforms for hardware/software simulation.
Pre-silicon hardware/software simulation/emulation.
Other programming languages such as: C#, Java, Bash, assembly.
Cloud Native / Software containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
AI/Machine Learning Frameworks: OpenVino.
Parallel/Graphics Compute development.
FPGA, Verilog, OpenCL or RTL Design.
Version control and continuous integration tools.

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, and schoolwork/classes/research through Master/PhD degrees.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
