Job Description

Designs, develops, tests, and debugs software applications used by endusers or integrated with other applications by ISVs.
Development may span the full application stack including both frontend and backend application development.
Uses modern software development methodologies and programming languages, follows secure coding practices and software legal compliance guidelines, analyzes user stories, writes both functional and test code, automates build and deployment, and performs unit integration and endtoend testing of applications.
Completes SDL tasks with the assistance of product security engineers and provides input to technical writers to complete product documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
May also interact with end users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, IT and Software Engineering.
Comprehensive knowledge in a business functional area who is able to understand business needs and translate them into technical design and development in data warehouse technology such as HANA or Azure Data Bricks.
Experience in loading data from multiple sources using integration tools.
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects), databases (SQL, Teradata, HANA, Azure and Snowflakes) , programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks)
Able to understand Data Models and Data relationships and align to Connected Data strategy.
Translate functional specifications into technical specifications and ensure a comprehensive data store design.
Planning and organizational skills including ability to engage with multiple development projects concurrently and working to tight deadlines.
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
Strong communication and interpersonal skills ensuring the ability to interact with the business peers and vendors in a professional manner.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of proven working experience as a Data Analyst
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
Minimum of 2 years experience with ER Studio and/or other data modeling tools
Minimum of 2 years in developing, creating and updating objects and views using MS. SQL Store Procedure, Denodo, Mulesoft, Azure Data Bricks, and Snowflakes
Experience in data integration across enterprise systems
Experience in Finance Master Data
