Job Description


Provides technical support for solutions that incorporate one or more Intel products and technologies, drive solution design ensuring timetomarket readiness, transforms opportunities to design and production wins, and enables ecosystem and industry partners for the platform solution readiness. Develops and implements product design, development, and validation tools and provides technical and issue resolution support during development, testing, and production. Evaluates, designs, and develops new software and hardware fixtures and utilizes tools during project deployment to validate and optimize product quality and performance. Creates product specifications, hardware design guides, application notes, and other supporting technical collateral. Collaborates and enables internal and external silicon, hardware, and software teams to deliver latest products in the market. Partners with customer RD and manufacturing to ensure smooth product ramp through integrating customer DFx requirements, mitigating customer factory challenges, delivering product training, and providing health oversight with rapid technical support and systematic improvement action.

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications
? BSEE or MSEE with more than 7 years of related Server or Embedded Platform Hardware Design, Applications Engineering and/or Intel IA Processor and Chipset Validation experience.
? Intel architecture Motherboards
? Experience with PCIe GEN3/4 add-in cards
? Fundamental understanding of Intel Architecture Processors and Chipsets
? Familiar with industry specifications such as I2C/I3C, SMBUS, SPI, USB, Ethernet, PCIe and DDR4/5 at a minimum
? Experience with Python scripting environment
? Experience with lab test equipment to support debug activities including electrical waveform capture and analysis
? Ability to effectively communicate ideas and results.
? Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment
? Ability to travel
Preferred Qualifications
? Embedded design development experience preferred
? Understanding of Telco customer usage models regarding hardware platforms is a plus
? Knowledge of platform testability architecture and tools i.e. JTAG/BDSL, etc.
? Experience with System BIOS
? Experience with HW Debuggers
? Experience with customer system/board power-on (PO) activities include debug and issue root cause analysis
? Familiarity with signal and power integrity concepts is a plus
? Able to follow a logical and methodical approach to solve customer reported issues
? Good interpersonal and presentation skills

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
