E-core (Atom), Intel's most efficient CPU circuit technology team is looking for a highly motivated and technically savvy experienced individual to join our team as Staff Circuit Design Engineer. Our team is responsible for developing custom circuit design for Intel next generation CPU projects. This will be a fast-paced dynamic environment where you will work in the high performance, low power CPU design on a wide spectrum of circuit activities ranging from technical readiness, circuit simulation and custom block design to meet stringent Power/Performance/Area constraints. Candidate is expected to be familiar with industrial EDA tools and to be able to verify the design through comprehensive sign-off tools in functional equivalency verification, timing/performance (STA), noise, layout design rules (DRC), reliability (RV) and power. You would own the design and development of complex circuit blocks, along with design verification and collateral generation. Additionally, you may be tasked to guide junior circuit designers.

Qualifications


Qualifications:

  • More than 8 years of custom circuit design experience in advanced CMOS technology

  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer engineering or related areas.

  • Familiar with industrial EDA tools.

  • Familiar with advanced CMOS technology and understanding of physical layout techniques.

  • Solid knowledge in circuit simulator is a plus.

  • Solid knowledge in power delivery network is a plus.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
