In Q4 2023, Intel announced Altera will be reported as a separate business unit beginning on January 1, 2024 with ongoing support from Intel. This will give Altera the autonomy and flexibility it needs to fully accelerate its growth and more effectively compete in the FPGA industry, which serves a broad array of markets, including the data center, communications, industrial, automotive, aerospace and defense sectors.
This position is associated to that standalone business strategy and is expected to fully transition to a standalone company at some time in the future.
About the Role:
The Talent Coordinator is a critical role in the hiring process. They should be able to work closely with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, Administrative Assistants and Candidates throughout the hiring process. We are looking for a candidate that is organized, have great communication skills and is able to shift and reprioritize at a moment's notice.
Responsibilities:
Assist recruiter with candidate and requisition management tasks as required.
Act as liaison between Altera and candidates. Coordinate candidate logistics from interview to offer through First Day.
Responsible for setting up phone screens, virtual and on-site interviews, booking travel and accommodation, sending calendar invites and providing interview summary communications for all senior leader positions
Document hiring manager and interview team bios and equip candidates with the necessary information for a successful interview process
Execute Workday tasks and add candidate details into the interview and requisition management tracker tool
Project manage networking eve
nts as required
Partner with BHR and hiring manager's office to coordinate employee first week meetings with key stakeholders
This position is as an Intel-Altera Contract Employee ICE for Six months.
Qualifications
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Candidates should possess 5+ years of program management experience.
- Working closely with customers and providing pristine support
Candidates must have 3+ years in the following skills:
- Experience supporting senior management or high-level projects
- Ability to communicate both written and oral with senior corporate leaders
- Understanding of an applicant tracking systems (ie Workday) to provide support by reviewing and capturing critical information during in the hiring process
- Working with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
- Experience coordinating complex domestic and international travel, matching multiple key stakeholders’ schedules
- Experience with communication platforms including chat, video conferencing, file storage and customer relationship management (CRM) tools
- Fluent English communications

- Sound judgment and decision-making ability in resolving complex problems
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information discreetly
- Self-motivated to meet deadlines independently
- Understands department goals and priorities, anticipates needs, and initiates actions
- Manages multiple priorities and re-prioritizes where necessary
- Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment
