This position is part of the Corporate Accounting Center of Excellence, COE Operations, and this job role will be based in Penang, Malaysia. The COE group manages end-to-end accounting work from journal entry posting to general ledger reconciliation, handling intercompany transactions together with transfer pricing accounting entries. We are looking for an Accounting Manager, specializing in Cash and Treasury Accounting. Day to day operations include but not limited to overseeing and managing a team of accountants in Cash and Treasury reconciliation process, working closely with Treasury business partners on cashflow hedging support, treasury confirmations and partnering with local statutory accountants on closing estimates. An individual with strong technical accounting knowledge, treasury experience, good stakeholder management skills, clear communication and self-driven. Experience in SAP is highly preferred. In this role, you are expected to lead the team, identify opportunities for improvements, adhere to policies and guidelines, comply to financial close due dates, uphold process governance, and support audits when needed. Able to work with cross functional teams to identify, plan and implement cash and treasury accounting process improvements. Responsible for enabling teams to execute through clear goal setting, resource planning, performance management, and driving team results.

Qualifications


Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Bachelors, Masters or MBA degree in Accounting and Finance, or related field with 8+ years of experience in technical accounting and treasury. Experience working with Power BI, SAP system and leading teams/people management.

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
