Facilities I and C/FMS Technician - Graduate


In this position, you will be an I and C/FMS Technician. This will comprise of preventive and predictive maintenance of critical instrumentation and control systems, this will require you to work and collaborate closely with other facilities disciplines. You will be involved in the setup, calibration, and troubleshooting of temperature, pressure, flow, humidity, level, pH and conductivity analysers, control valves and a wide range of instruments. Work from drawings, schematics and other documentation.

You will be trained in the ability to troubleshoot in a PLC. Work closely with Engineering to establish total predictive maintenance procedures and cost models. Understand and model the operational excellence of the team.


Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications/Required Skills

  • Proficient with instrumentation testing equipment including Multi-meter, Multifunction calibrator, HART Communicator, Temp/Humidity chamber/bath, Pressure simulating modules, pH/Conductivity solutions

  • Experience of SCADA / PLC systems

  • Analogue / Digital IO systems

  • Loop checking

  • Troubleshooting/repair of Low Voltage Electrical Systems


Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to troubleshoot in a PLC on both the PLC's hardware and software

  • Ability to recognize system and equipment deficiencies and take corrective action

  • Strong Mathematical skills
