Role Overview:

As an FSM EHS Intern Engineer, you will be an essential part of our EHS team, primarily responsible for the development, coordination, continuous improvement, and management of EHS programs onsite.

These programs include working at heights and laser safety, among others.

You will also support the overall EHS management system and ISO 45001 standards through close collaboration with EHS engineers.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Focus on promoting and instilling a strong health and safety culture within the organization.
  • Provide expert EHS advice, assistance, and support to Line Management and departments.
  • Act as the content expert for assigned EHS programs.
  • Develop and complete risk assessments for specific areas and tasks.
  • Support event investigation and root cause analysis.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
  • Analyze data, identify trends, and define focus areas for improvement.

This is a 23-month contract placement.


Qualifications


To be initially considered for this position, you must possess the following minimum qualifications:

A minimum of a NFQ Level 8 qualification in a core EHS discipline OR a science, chemical/process engineering-related third-level qualification, along with the completion of either a Post Grad. Diploma or MSc. in an EHS discipline.

Desirable:
Industrial experience in an applicable role for 1 -2 years plus

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
