Intel's Software and Advanced Technology Group (SATG) is seeking an experienced Product Manager for our software product management team. This team oversees a portfolio of advanced software development products, including compilers, abstraction libraries, and advanced analysis tools. These products are designed to optimize development and deployment on Intel platforms, leveraging the platform's specialized capabilities to enhance developer experiences, particularly for AI applications and advanced computing. The Product Manager will lead initiatives to make our developer tools easily accessible, updateable, installable, and user-friendly, ensuring they meet the modern software development needs by integrating seamlessly with external repositories and leading developer environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, document, and prioritize developer needs for product acquisition, distribution, and installation to ensure a smooth transition from setup to development.
Strategize commercial product packaging and manage SKUs across the entire product portfolio.
Collaborate across various teams, including product management, software architecture, engineering, program management, customer support, sales, and marketing, to support a cohesive and winning product strategy.
Engage with customers regularly to collect feedback and adapt product strategies to meet their evolving needs.
Ensure alignment with broader business unit objectives and requirements.
Coordinate with silicon platform software planning teams to align software product requirements.

Qualifications

You must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical/scientific discipline.
5+ years of technical experience in modern software development, with a focus on AI/ML/accelerated computing.
3+ years of experience in successfully managing developer software products, such as compilers, libraries, and debugging and profiling tools.
3+ years of experience in understanding of the installation, packaging, and distribution channels of modern software developer tools.
3+ years of experience in Intel Software Developer Tools, as well as alternatives from other vendors or open-source communities.
3+ years of experience in demonstrated capability to navigate and contribute within a highly matrixed, complex organizational structure, often in roles characterized by significant ambiguity.

A proactive self-starter with a high level of initiative, energy, and curiosity, committed to driving product success among developers.
A strong team player who values progress over ego and works collaboratively to achieve goals.
Proficiency in engaging across organizational boundaries, functions, and levels, including interactions with senior executives.
In-depth knowledge of the software development ecosystem, including various operating systems, and a strong familiarity with the challenges and opportunities within this domain.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $123,139.00-$203,801.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
