The Client ConnectivityDivision (CCD) is working on the development of the Thunderbolt technology.

We are looking for an exceptional Electrical Validation Engineer for our team in Haifa. 

Drive Innovation: Use your expertise to design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions, contributing to the advancement of our testing methodologies and pushing the boundaries of what's possible. 

Collaborate with the Best: Work closely with our talented design and validation teams, gaining exposure to a variety of challenges and projects, and playing a key role in bringing new products to market successfully. 

Problem-Solving: Take on complex issues head-on. Analyze test results to identify and debug potential roadblocks, driving cross-functional teams to achieve seamless resolutions. 

Documentation and Communication: Be a reliable source of knowledge. Maintain comprehensive test documentation, share your insights, and contribute to cohesive teamwork. 

Responsibilities:

  • Electrical Validation Technical Lead across projects PLC

  • Ensure project design compliance to high speed protocols specification

  • Develop robust and comprehensive design validation and characterization plan

  • Develop automated test data collection and processing solutions (HW/SW)

  • Department Technical focal point for PHY compliance items

  • Lead multi team debug task force for internal and customer support PHY compliance/performance items

  • Provide feedback and recommendation for multiple test equipment vendors solution in support of projects requirements


Qualifications


Qualifications:

  • BSc. In EE

  • MSc. - Advantage

  • Signal Integrity / RF Eng. Certification – Advantage

  • Machine Learning / AI Certification - Advantage

Experience:

  • 5+ in Electrical Validation / Analog design - Advantage

  • 3+ Post Silicon validation technical or team leader

  • Methodologies and Specification to Test development

  • Proven experience working with test equipment vendors

  • Proven silicon debug experience working with external IP vendors - Advantage

Skills:

  • Python

  • MATLAB (RF Toolbox/Simulink)

  • Schematic and Layout

  • System Verilog

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
